PPB Lime 0-0 PPB Zero

Match ends as a draw as both teams failed to score any goals.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Man of the Match: Ibnu Ayyub

The four officials of the game have unanimously agreed that he deserved the Man of the Match title for his non-stop goal stopping goalkeeping. His lightning fast reflexes denied Lime any goals throughout the whole match. Without him, the scoreline would surely read differently. His defense could rest easy, assured that they would always have a tremendous last defense for them to depend on. Surely he'll be nominated for the golden glove award if he keeps this up, bravo.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Pre-match discussion:

Awangku Hanafi: PPB Lime 2-5 PPB Zero
(Aiman to score first)

Syahmi Suferi: PPB Lime 4-2 PPB Zero
(Azeerul to score first)

Afiq Tawa: PPB Lime 4-1 PPB Zero
(Afiq to score first)

-------------------------------------------------------------

Post-match review:

Awangku Hanafi, MSN League President: The weather played an important role in today's match. A slow-tempo first half was dominated by the scorching sun and the game was completely controlled by Lime but all efforts was literally put to bed by Zero's keeper. Gloomy storm clouds loomed closer and closer with every passing minute and by the start of the second half, the first raindrops fell. This unexpected downpour rejuvenated the Zeroes and they started to press on. Waves after waves of attempts slammed into the Lime defense, trying to find a crack that they could utilize but no, Lime's defense was solid. The clouds were roaring ferociously but the tempo of the game only gets faster with every beat. But alas, as the loudest thunder echoed the blazing streak of lightning through the sky, Ii signals the end of the game and sadly, the scoreline doesn't reflect the resilience of both sides.

Zulfikar Ikram, captain of PPB Zero: It's only the beginning.

13.27 Aqil brings the ball to his feet and dances with the keeper to score a late equalizer, fans alike erupted in a flurry of emotions. How will the players react?

13.58 Sofian volleys Aliff's ball into the net! The scoreline reads 2-1 with only seconds to go!

Match ends and the results stand as 2-1 in favour of Outsyders Alpha.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Man of the Match: Aqil

The six officials of the game have unanimously agreed that he deserved the Man of the Match title for his efforts in both Lime's attack and defense. Like a demon, he was all over the field. Now that he's bold, I'm sure he'll be like a monk, meditating silently in the sidelines. Anyway, he provided the late equalizer for Lime, granted through his undeniable patience and spirit. He never gave up as he chased the ball up and down the field, showed his nature with his selfless passes and one-twos, a true captain.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Pre-match discussion:

Awangku Hanafi: Outsyders Alpha 3-1 PPB Lime
(Aliff to score first)

Syahmi Suferi: Outsyders Alpha 1-4 PPB Lime
(Azeerul to score first)

Afiq Tawa: Outsyders Alpha 2-4 PPB Lime
(Afiq to score first)

-------------------------------------------------------------

Post-match review:

Ibnu Ayyub; a match official: It was a tense game, full of disagreements and arguements. It was such an emo game, the negativity could be seen all over the pitch. I'm glad PPB decided to go bald. Be more content and monk-like, macam si Buddha. The pace was lightning fast, Zulfadly (Alpha's keeper) was careless as his mistake cost PPB Lime their goal. Yes Zul, you're the only one who made a mistake. A 'wonderful tonight' for Alpha, 'it ends tonight' for Lime.

Sofian, winning goal scorer: Wonderful comeback!

Anonymous referee: No woman, no cry.

Muaz; another match official: Maju Sukan untuk Negara.

Zulfikar Ikram, another match official: Hip hip hooray!

Trivella 0
-
8 Outsyders Alpha

4:42 Amin turns and scores the first goal!

9:03 Aliff shoots from outside the penalty box and scores!

9:13 Aliff gets the ball going and dribbles pass the defenders and scores another goal for Alpha! That was some quick-footwork!

10:35 Aliff has the ball again and he tries from a distance. AGAIN HE SCORES! He gets his hat-trick in less than 2 minutes!

10:37 Aliff shoots again but the keeper can't get to the ball fast enough and the ball swerves to the back of the net. 2 goals in 2 seconds! What is going on?

12:31 The Trivellas are caught offguard by Alpha's counter-attack and they score again. Guess who? Yeah, it's Aliff Azizi.

12:38 Iqbal gets the ball and he drives the ball low and to the back of the net. Man, the Alpha's are dominating the scoreline. It's 7-nil now.

13:58 Another counter-attack and again Aliff scores. That makes it his double hat-trick for the day and this would leave him well clear of the at the top of the top scorers list.

Match ends and the results stand as 8-0 in favour of Outsyders Alpha.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Man of the Match: Hadi Masri

The four officials of the game have unanimously agreed that he deserved the Man of the Match title for his unfazed resilience throughout the game. He ran back and forth the field to help his team's defence as well as offence and opened up the game for Trivella. He made a lot of tries at goal which are worthy of mention but never reached the scoreline. Without his contributions, the score margin would've been even greater. Therefore, he truly is a key player to Trivella and deserved the Man of the Match award.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Pre-match discussion:

Awangku Hanafi:
Trivella 3-2 Outsyders Alpha
(Azim
to score first)

Syahmi Suferi: Trivella 1-5 Outsyders Alpha
(Aliff Azizi to score first)

Afiq Tawa: Trivella 1-3 Outsyders Alpha
(Aliff Azizi to score first)

Azlan: Trivella 0-3 Outsyders Alpha

(Aliff Azizi to score first)

-------------------------------------------------------------

Post-match review:

Azlan Shah; a match official: Outsyders Alpha clearly out-played Trivella in this game. Alpha's use of Amin as a striker clearly showed their outstanding tactics in attacking. Their strikers exploited the unorganized Trivella defenders to the fullest. Their counter-attacks are also a force to be reckon with as their quick-paced change completely disarrayed the Trivella team. A comment to Outsyders Alpha's keeper, "Tambah lagi wang". To Trivella, you guys just lack the finishing touches for a goal and a strong, organized defence.

Muaz; another match official: It was a nice game. The losing team didn't give up even though they were losing by a long shot. This is a great trait and should be a key factor in every team. Keep it up and never give up. "Maju Sukan untuk Negara!"

Awangku Hanafi & Syahmi Suferi; MSN League's Presidents: What the hell happened while we were busy with our biology practicals? "Maju Sukan untuk Negara"? "Tambah lagi wang"? HAHA. I want more money too. Anyway, from my observations of the first half of the match, the game was pretty much one-sided as Outsyders Alpha dominated the game but was limited to only one goal which shows some promise from the Trivellas. But their defence was mostly nervous, scattered and unorganized as well as a little uncommunicative. They're still a new team and they still have a lot to learn as an individual player as well as a team. They would need a few practice matches to get to know each other better as well as develop a bond of trust between them. As players, I see a lot of promising stars in them but they have yet to show their talent. All of this will need patience and training but in time, I am sure that this team will bloom into an exceptional team to be reckon with. Also, congratulations to Outsyders Alpha for a great performance and I hope that this quality of play will be shown throughout the league this season and the seasons to follow. Bravo.

This revives the Outsyders' fans and sends the fans into a singing frenzy!

13:14 Zaim shoots Firdaus's ground ball!

Man of the Match: Azeerul Azeez

The four officials of the game have unanimously agreed that he deserved the Man of the Match title due to his outstanding performance and leadership throughout. The captain never gave up and chased the ball up and down the field. His contribution to 3 of PPB Lime's goals reflects this.

Post-match review:

Ibnu Ayyub, a match official: The game was fast-paced and action-packed. The game was equally possesed. Outsyders Sierra had a lot of great chances but these were either blocked off by PPB Lime's strong defenders or wasted due to their poor finishing. But their overall performances were wonderful and they have nothing to be ashamed of. I for one think both teams deserved more goals but that's just me. I believed it was a stupendous match. It was a great game.

Awangku Hanafi, Afiq Tawa & Syahmi Suferi, Z-Class heroes: The result was unexpected as we had a pre-match discussion and we all agreed that the match would go to Outsyders Sierra. So congratulations to PPB Lime for proving us wrong and to Outsyders Sierra, we know you can do better. We all know what you're capable of and this is just the start of the league. Go for it!

PPB Zero 2-1 PPB Light

Zulfikar's through ball reached Ayyub and he faked Shahrin to score a really great goal for the Zeroes!

Ayyub dribbled the ball into the goal circle but was held down by Faiq to win the penalty. Ayyub takes the penalty and that makes 2-nil in favour of the Zeroes!

A Light player had to leave the match and thus leaves PPB Light 1-man short. The referee decides to take a player from PPB Zero to make the match fair. So the match continues as a 4-on-4 game.

The time-keeper signals a last attack and Muaz drives the ball forward and delivers the ball to the back of the net for a consolation goal.

Match ends and the results stand as 2-1 in favour of PPB Zero.

Man of the Match: Danial Taufiq

The four officials of the game have unanimously agreed that he deserved the Man of the Match title due to his drive to win and his constant attempts to score. He was also the main motivator and spirit of his team, even though they lost.

Post-match review:

Zulfadli, a match official:
The game was equally distributed. The possesion was 50-50. PPB Zero won through their great counter-attacks that left the defenders of PPB Light breathless but they seemed to have faded and changed into a more defensive style of play once they've scored their 2 goals. I expected better. PPB Light was pushing very hard to score but the defense of PPB Zero was hard to break but in my opinion, they did great. They just didn't deliver the finishing.

Aqil, another match official:
It was a great match. Full of energy and spirit though I believed it could've been better. I expected more goals but it was okay.

Aiman, a player from Outsyders Sierra:
I loved the match. I wished to have seen more goals though. They have the quality, they had the chances but they lacked the finishing.
